In 2001, Neutrogena wanted to launch a brand new skin evaluation system. This system would place a person's face under special lighting, and indicate where sun damage, and other skin issues could be detected. After evaluation, Neutrogena would sell appropriate products to the customer in a custom kiosk designed to reflect their corporate image.
Neutrogena hired CartWorks to assist them with this, their first retail venture. CartWorks' help included designing the kiosks, determining retail locations and negotiating leases, interviewing and hiring of employees, selecting POS system, writing the procedures manual and training employees, procuring all license and permits, and assistance in set-up and merchandising of kiosks. CartWorks became a member of the Neutrogena team and assisted in all areas for the success of this launch.
